LSAT made simple

Thank you for choosing LSAT made simple for your LSAT prep journey. At Made Simple Learning, LLC, we value individual student success over making a sale, and we recognize that when it comes to LSAT® prep, one size does not fit all (hence our Online Adaptive Course in development 😉). In short, we want to encourage students to find what works for them at a personal level. So, we offer students the opportunity to try our Live Courses and Online Adaptive Course offerings “risk-free” by offering a full refund of the course price within the first 7 days of the start date. After 7 days have passed since your start date, you will not be offered a refund or exchange of any kind.

To receive a refund, you must make a written request by emailing [email protected]. If your refund request is approved, you will be issued a refund to your original form of payment, and we will send you an email confirming the refund.

The following conditions apply:

Eligibility for Refunds 

 Live Courses – Refund Policy

•    Submit a written refund request within 7 days of the “start date” (defined as the date of the first scheduled Live Session).

One-on-One Coaching – By the Hour – Refund Policy

•    Only unused, prepaid hours are eligible for refund. Under no circumstances is the hourly fee refundable for any One-on-One Coaching Sessions that are actually conducted. 

•    You must submit a written refund request within 7 days of the “start date” (defined as the initial purchase date).

•    NOTE: A cancellation fee applies to no-shows and last-minute cancellations and rescheduling requests (see below for Cancellation/Rescheduling Policy).

One-on-One Coaching – Coaching Packages – Refund Policy

•    Only unused, prepaid hours are eligible for refund. For example, if you purchased the 30-Hour Comprehensive Coaching Package and only used 10 hours worth of One-on-One Sessions, then the remaining 20 hours would be refundable.

•    You must submit a written refund request within 7 days of the “start date” (defined as the date of the first One-on-One Coaching Session).

•    The refund amount would be calculated as follows: Full package purchase price, minus $100 per hour for sessions actually conducted. Example: if you purchased the Comprehensive Coaching Package for $2100, and conducted 4 hours worth of sessions during the first week, the refund amount would be $2100 – ($100×4hrs) = $1700 refund).

•    After the 7-day period, there will be no refunds for unused Coaching hours. Coaching hours included within the Coaching Package expire 1 year from the purchase date. 

•    NOTE: A cancellation fee applies to no-shows and last-minute cancellations and rescheduling requests (see below for Cancellation/Rescheduling Policy).

Online Adaptive Course – Refund Policy

•    Submit a written refund request within 7 days of the “start date” (defined as the purchase date).

•    A maximum of 7 lessons may be accessed before you become ineligible for a full refund. If you access 8 lessons or more, you will only be entitled to a 50% refund of the purchase price.

Limitations on Refunds

•    Each individual is eligible for a lifetime maximum of 1 refund. You may not register multiple times under different aliases with the intent to circumvent this limitation. We reserve the right to deny a refund if we, in our sole discretion, suspect any foul play.

•    The refund eligibilities described above apply only to LSAT made simple courses/products. For refunds on LawHub Advantage Subscriptions, see below.

LawHub Advantage Subscription – Refund Policy

•    Only unused LawHub Advantage Subscriptions purchased through lsatmadesimple.com are eligible for a refund.

•    If you "access" any official LSAC content, (defined as either logging in to one of the LSAT made simple course offerings, or logging into LawHub), you will not be entitled to any refund of the $120 subscription fee for LawHub Advantage. 

•    To receive a refund for unused LawHub Advantage Subscriptions, you must submit a written request by emailing [email protected].

Late or Missing Refunds

It may take multiple business days for your bank to post the transaction. Please contact us if more than 14 days have passed since you received our refund confirmation email, and you do not yet have your funds.

One-on-One Coaching Sessions –Cancellation/Rescheduling Policy 

Please note that once you have scheduled a One-on-One Coaching Session with us, it means that we have reserved that time in our schedule exclusively for you. Each student is entitled to one free “pass” for the first last-minute cancellation or rescheduling request (no free pass for no-shows). After the one free pass, if you cancel or reschedule your session less than 24 hours before it is scheduled to take place, or if you ever fail to show up (“no-show”), you will be subject to a cancellation fee, as described below:

•    One-on-One Coaching – By the Hour – Cancellation Fee: $70 per hour that was scheduled. 

•    One-on-One Coaching – Coaching Packages – Cancellation Fee: $50 per hour that was scheduled. 

Cancellation fees will be billed separately, and the student must pay the fee in full in order to become eligible to attend a subsequent One-on-One Coaching Session. If the cancellation fee is not paid, prepaid Coaching hours will be forfeited, including those purchased through a Coaching Package.

To avoid a cancellation fee, please provide cancellation/rescheduling notice at least 24 hours prior to your scheduled session.

Cancellations/Rescheduling by the Instructor and/or by Made Simple Learning, LLC

In case of an emergency, unforeseen circumstance, or other situation in which we cannot reasonably provide your course or product as originally intended, Made Simple Learning, LLC reserves the right to cancel, reschedule, or modify your course, product, or scheduled session. 

• Changes that affect the whole curriculum or schedule – In the case of cancellation of the course or package, or in the event that you are unhappy with the modification or rescheduling, your sole and exclusive remedy shall be a full refund of the purchase price of your course or product. (This does not include the $120 subscription fee for LawHub Advantage. For refund eligibility regarding LawHub Advantage, see the applicable section above).
• Changes that affect only one session – In the event of a cancellation of a Live Session or One-on-One Coaching Session, your sole and exclusive remedy is that the session be rescheduled. If you cannot attend the Live Session at the rescheduled time, you shall have the right to watch the recording.
