FAQ

  • How much time do I need to prepare for the LSAT? Will this Self-Paced Course be enough to get me ready?

Classic lawyer answer here: it depends (: This Course include 60 hours of instruction (only 30 hours is required to learn the material), and the curriculum is designed to get you ready for the exam upon completion of the 8 Modules (which can be done in 8 weeks). However, each individual student's Test Day-readiness depends on countless factors, including their personal learning pace, the amount of time that they had to study during each week, work, school, life events, etc. Also, keep in mind that because the LSAT is designed to measure skills, and skills are refined with (proper) practice—more is more. To continue boosting your score after you initially learn all of the skills within the 8 Main Modules, we recommend spending an extra few weeks or even months practicing for the LSAT. (The Course includes extra practice materials for this). Also, most students like to schedule in some extra One-on-One Coaching sessions after finishing the initial 8 Modules, just to continue tweaking and refining any issues before Test Day. (Self-Paced Course students enjoy a 20% discount off the hourly rate!)

  • Do I need to purchase any extra materials?

All LSAT made simple offerings, including the Self-Paced Course, requires an active student subscription with LawHub Advantage. Students may purchase their subscription either directly from LawHub, or from us. The subscription costs $120/year, and it gives you access to all of the official LSAT prep tests and materials currently released by LSAC. If you already have an active subscription, you're good to go.

  • What practice materials are included?

The Self-Paced Course requires that you have an active subscription with LawHub Advantage, so that means you'll have access to all of the most up-to-date official LSAT practice tests, drill sets, and writing prompts. For extra guidance, your Course Portal will contain specific practice sets, sections, and practice tests for you to work on at specific times. That way you'll know exactly what you should be working on in between sessions, and we can even track your progress.

  • What do the Sessions look like?

Session Videos are recordings from a previously conducted Live Course. So that means that you will benefit from the instructor's detailed breakdown of each strategy, skill, and practice question. Plus, you'll also benefit from hearing other students' questions, responses, and instructor feedback, allowing you to learn from common mistakes.

  • Do I get a discount on One-on-One Coaching?

Yes. If you need any extra help during your enrollment in the Self-Paced Course, enjoy a discounted hourly rate for private One-on-One Coaching at $80/hour.* (*Discount is applicable for 1 year after enrollment in the Course).

  • What is the Bonus Online Adaptive Lesson Content?

The LSAT made simple Online Adaptive Course is coming soon, and it is very exciting! It will be the first LSAT course on the market that is capable of adapting to your individual mistake patterns and reasoning. This goes way beyond just tracking which question types throw you off. No—LSAT made simple will be the first to provide you with custom lessons, examples, and explanations based on what your brain is actually thinking about when you answer LSAT questions. How does the program know what you're thinking about? No gimmicks, no artificial intelligence. It is all human intelligence. Our Founder, Crystal Paz, is personally programming this highly interactive course so that it prompts you, tracks your responses, and adapts by providing more helpful explanations and custom-strategies. This is based on her 8+ years of experience in private LSAT tutoring, where she has picked up on all of the most common mistakes and thinking patterns that trouble students. This means she's been able to identify and create different versions of the same strategies for all of the different students out there, and the Online Adaptive Course will tailor fit those strategies to you. As new Online Adaptive Lessons are released, they will be added to your Live Course (for free), and you'll get to try them out for yourself. Feedback is welcome!

Student Testimonials

“I started working with Crystal in December of 2024, and I can honestly say it’s one of the best decisions I’ve ever made for my LSAT prep. Before finding Crystal, I had tried several mainstream programs and tutors that came highly recommended, but none of them truly clicked for me. The scores showed exactly that and I was losing confidence. That all changed when I began studying with Crystal. From day one, she brought structure, clarity, and encouragement to my study process. She created tailored strategies for every question type in LR and RC and broke down why certain answers were wrong—not just superficially, but in a way that made sense for how I approached the questions. Crystal doesn’t just teach the material she understands the way us LSAT students think and help us rewire bad habits into effective, strategic thinking. Crystal has been a constant source of support during the highs and lows of my journey. She's celebrated my wins, helped me work through frustrations, and even kept me grounded during moments of burnout or self-doubt. I truly feel like I’ve gained not just an incredible tutor, but also a cheerleader and mentor. Thanks to Crystal, my score has improved significantly, and I finally feel like I’m reaching my full potential. If you’re ready to put in the work and want a tutor who will match your effort 100%, look no further. I only wish I had started working with her sooner! Irregardless (our inside joke), Forever Grateful <3 Truly the Best!”

“Crystal is the best tutor in Miami. She provides a ton of resources and information for her services. As a biology undergrad, I faced many challenges with my transition into the LSAT yet she made it easy. She breaks down each question one by one providing extreme detail and faster problem-solving skills. These changes increased my score from a 150 to a 164. I’m truly thankful and honored to have learned from such an amazing tutor and recommend her to all trying to reach their scores!”

“I want to say right at the beginning that I am so grateful for Crystal and all her help!! She is truly a great tutor who helped me so much for the LSAT and during the application process. When I started my LSAT journey it was with a big name tutoring company in February 2024. I took an online live class with them to prepare for the June 2024 exam. I didn't feel fully prepared for the exam because I was not seeing any improvement in the logical reasoning section. I was disappointed with my score because I knew I could do better. After a little break in the summer, I started working with Crystal which was a game changer!! We focused on the logical reasoning section since it was my weaker section, but still worked on the reading comprehensive section. Compared to the big name tutoring company, Crystal was a breath of fresh air. She actually explained each question type: what are they asking, what does it mean, how they work, how to get to the answer. She broke it down in a way that made it easy to understand. She would answer any questions, both during and outside the sessions. Before working with Crystal, I was lucky to get maybe 14/15 out of 25/26 right in logical reasoning. But once I started working with her, I increased it to 21/22 out of 25/26! My practice scores went up as well. The highest score on a practice test I got was a 164. My highest score that I got on the LSAT was a 159 on the November exam but that was higher than the score I got in the June 2024 exam. I actually learned how the logical reasoning section works and how to answer the questions which I didn't learn working with the big name company. Crystal was an amazing tutor and I am so grateful for all of her help. If you considering working with her, DO IT!!! YOU WON'T REGRET IT!!!”
